Our Approach

So what are we all about?

First and foremost - we’re about keeping it real.

That means relaxed, documentary photography throughout the day. From our first meeting, all the way to the last dances in the evening, we do our best to make you feel at ease and comfortable with us in the room. We truly believe that there is no better way to capture a day from start to finish, and tell the story of how it all went down.

We’re all about emotions - hugs, smiles, tears, laughs, interactions with friends and family - all the things that make your wedding unique to you. If we tried to pose or stage these images it just wouldn’t work, our creative vision is all about being in the right place at the right time in order to capture all those unseen moments which fly by in a heartbeat.

Of course we will still take formal group shots if you want - but we wont be forcing you to either!

Relaxed Portraits

Many of the folks we speak to open the conversation with something along the lines of ‘I hate having my picture taken’…

I understand!
I really do.
I hate it too.

Which is why I try my best to keep all my couples sessions short, sweet, and relaxed. We’ll usually take around 10-20 minutes during the day to pop off and grab some pictures. Just the two of you somewhere away from the noise.

We love a good party

The party is where it’s at when it comes to the nighttime shots - when we say that we’ll stay till the end - we mean it.
Once the first dance is over, we’ll stick around and capture the spirit of the night till your guests begin to pack it in.

Some of our favourite shots come in this crazy couple of hours, so we wouldn’t miss it for the world.

You’ll probably see us shimmying around the dancefloor, camera in hand, pulling some shapes as your guests party on down.

Archie and Abigail came very highly recommended - as soon as we met them we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding.
