Faye and Will’s celebration at Hanbury Wedding Barns was such a pleasure to shoot. A ‘classic’ COVID on-off-on-off affair they ran the gammut of obstacles to make it happen, and snuck it in between the lockdowns!

With a name like William Wallace, they really had to commit to the kilt aesthetic - and my god what an eye catching tartan that red and black is! Kilts are always fun to shoot at a wedding and this was no exception. Not to be outdone - Faye looked freakin incredible with her relaxed hair and effortlessly graceful dress. Huge props to her makeup artist Harper who has to be one of the most fun and friendly people we’ve worked with this year (not that we’ve shot many weddings, but still!).

The barns were decorated with dried hops, and the wonderful smell filled the ceremony and reception rooms throughout the day. A couple of thistles made appearances in the decorations, bouquet, and boutonnieres. Really nice touches from their florist - Will’s incredibly talented mother!

Donuts for dinner, a brief dance - check out their groomsman and maid of honour canoodling in the back (it’s fine - they’re a couple), and then sparklers before departure.

LOVE IT!
